BECOME A PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY PRECINCT CHAIRMAN

It is by no accident that the Democratic Party has been and continues to be the dominant political party here in Prince Georges County. This reality has occurred in large part because of years of grass roots organizational work at the precinct level by Democratic Party volunteers. We intend to counter this current reality by establishing a comprehensive, county wide Republican precinct organization.

So, exactly what is a precinct? A precinct is the smallest unit of electoral geography surrounding the location where you vote. There are 227 precincts in Prince Georges County and the boundaries of each can be obtained from the Board of Elections.

Exactly what are the main objectives of the Precinct Organization?
1.Register Republican voters
2.Ensure that those unable to vote in person receive absentee ballots
3.Get-Out-The-Vote on Election Day.

If you have the time and interest to accomplish these objectives, you will be positioned to have a great influence on the voters in your precinct. You are the one voters will look to for guidance on political matters and on how they can be an active participant in the Republican Party.

We are looking for dedicated Republicans who will work with us to build first class precinct teams that will help to bring our goal of limited, lower tax government and conservative family oriented values back to Prince Georges County.
